I recently published an article in The Philosopher’s Magazine called “Making Up Our Minds” (Winter 2014). The article lays out a few potential lessons that philosophers of mind can take away from realistic cognitive modelling techniques. In particular, I try to explain the philosophical implications of the innovations of the Centre for Theoretical Neuroscience (headed by Chris Eliasmith).
